Ahead of the second leg game, Nigeria Federation Cup champions Bendel Insurance has departed the country for Algeria.
The Benin Arsenal last weekend defeated the Algerian side ASO Chlef in the first leg of the first preliminary of the CAF Confederation.
Striker Imade Osarenkhoe netted the only goal of the game in the 42nd minute to give the Nigerian team an advantage going into the final leg.
The team departed Benin on Wednesday morning en route to Lagos where they will move to Algeria.
The governor of the state Godwin Obaseki was on hand to encourage the team and bid them farewell.
He further charged the players to go for victory in Algeria and ensure progress into the second round.
