Despite suffering a heavy defeat against Club Africain in Tunis, the technical adviser of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has remained optimistic about the team’s qualification for the quarter-final.
The Pride of Rivers lost 3-0 to the Tunisian giant in Tunis on Wednesday and dropped out of the 2 in the group.
Eguma during the post-match conference insisted that they would still make it out of the group.
“We are also a good team despite our undoing today. On a good day we gave a very good account of ourselves and I believe that the future is still bright for us.

“We can go back and correct our mistakes and come out stronger in subsequent matches and before you know it, we will get there. I strongly believe that we will qualify from our group”, he said.
