Ahead of the second leg match of the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs round, Nigeria’s champions Rivers United have landed in Libya.
The team under the tutelage of coach Stanley Eguma departed the country on Saturday for the North African country.
They had a stopover in Egypt on Sunday afternoon and they finally arrived in Tripoli the capital of Libya on Monday.
The Nigerian side will face Al Nasr on Wednesday at Benina Martyrs stadium in Benghazi by 8 pm local time.
The Pride of Rivers will be working to protect their 5-0 first-leg advantage to progress to the group stage of the competition.
