The management of the Belgian Jupiler League side Club Brugge has decided to sack its manager Carl Hofkens due to a poor run of results.
Hofkens was responsible for the acquisition of Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika.
The poor run of form saw them lose 4-1 in the cup to Sint-Truiden and draw 1-1 at home to OH Leuven
Hoefkens only took over at the club in the summer of 2022, after Alfred Schreuder had left to join Ajax.
Despite a victory over Genk to start the season, Club has been inconsistent in the league.
Hoefkens leaves the side in fourth place, 12 points behind leaders Genk
