Former Man Utd star Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with ‘improper and violent conduct and has now been fined £50,000 and given a two-match ban by the football association in England for smashing a mobile phone out of a fan’s hands at the clash with Everton
The FA concluded their investigation and handed Ronaldo his punishment.
This comes just a few hours after it was announced that his contract with United was terminated by mutual agreement following his interview with Piers Morgan about the management of the club and the manager, Erik ten Hag.
According to The Mirror UK, the ban means that Christiano Ronaldo would be suspended for two games if he joins another Premier League club, with Chelsea and Newcastle both linked with a move for the 37-year-old.
