The former Tottenham midfielder has been relieved of his duty to the first team of Besiktas by head coach Senol Gunes till the end of the season. It is said he will be watching matches from the stands instead of the pitch.
Dele has not been the player he was in the early stage of his career, the 26-year-old has struggled to live up to expectations since he left Tottenham to join Everton last season making just 13 appearances for the Toffees.
The 26-year-old inability to get back to good form forced Everton to send him on loan to join Turkey club Besiktas. Things went from bad to worse as he has been banished from the first team after making just 15 appearances for the club.
The head coach of Besiktas said in February that“Alli did not add the efficiency we thought of as a game. We work physically and tactically,”.
Alli was once one of the best young players with a big future ahead of him. Alli won the PFA player of the year and now he can’t even get into a team of Besiktas.
