Ahead of this weekend premier league Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed fear of Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi in the attack of Nottingham Forest.
The Reds will face the relegation-threatened Forest with the Nigerian International expected to ‘lead the attack of the away side.
During a press conference, the German gaffer said they have to be wary of Awoniyi if they want to secure all the 3 points in the game.
“But the quality they have is clear and if we don’t respect that quality, which we definitely do.
we would already be on the wrong side because in front of Gibbs-White, Johnson and Taiwo [Awoniyi] they can all cause you enormous problems.
And obviously, it’s a great team, they also have a lot more options. We’ll see who will field Steve, but we’re expecting a really tough game. Johnson and Taiwo [Awoniyi], they can all cause you huge problems,” he said.
