After their quarter-finals exit in the December FIFA world cup 2022 by France, England will be back again this month for the Euro 2024 qualifier.
England will open their qualify with a tough trip to Italy on the 23rd while and then face Ukraine 3 days later at Wembley stadium.
All talk around the squad for their qualifier has ended with Southgate naming a strong squad even with the likes of Ivan Toney who has been on great form also making the list after being excluded from the FIFA world cup squad.
It was said that Ivan Toney will miss out on the list because of his disciplinary issues with the FA for breaching betting rules. But he eventually made the list.
The significant miss in the squad is Ben White, who has been having a good season at Arsenal helping stay at the top of the premier league table, and also Trent Alexander Arnold and Raheem sterling simply because of match fitness.
Ben White left the England camp during the world cup because of personal issues and rumors have it that he had issues with Southgate during the world cup.
