German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen continued their unbeaten run this season with a comfortable 0-2 away win against BK Hacken.
Leverkusen remained one of the few clubs in Europe’s top leagues that is yet to suffer defeat this season both in Europe and on the domestic scene.
They played away to BK Hacken in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday and secured a 0-2 victory.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface ended his 5-game goal drought as he netted the opening goal in the 14th minute.
Patrik Schick added the second goal in the 67th minute after the introduction of another Nigerian International Nathan Tella.
The victory ensured that Leverkusen topped the group and proceeded to the next round of the competition.
