Lagos-based NWFL side Robo Queens has denied getting a gift of a million from Super Falcons star Rashidat Ajibade.
In a statement released by the club and signed by the club founder Emmanuel Osahon on Wednesday, Robo Queens described the news as a baseless rumour
“Robo Queens attention have been drawn to a deceptive and misleading information on the social media space saying the club received a gift of Ten Million Naira from our darling product, Rasheedat Ajibade.
This highly cancerous and baseless rumour was posted by a Facebook user named ‘Zavada Pius’ on the Breaking News Naija group platform on Facebook.
As an highly placed and law-abiding club, we urge the general public to ignore this piece of denigrating information aimed at destabilizing Robo Queens status.
The perceived and outrightly flabbergasted post is aimed at disrupting the glamourous relationship between the club and it’s World Class Superstar product, Rasheedat Ajibade.
The Lagos Landladies made it public when Rasheedat Ajibade kitted the club’s officials with tracksuit and Nike sneakers and same went to the club academy players too”
