Due to his amazing performance last season, the European top clubs have switched their attention to Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Boavista defender Bruno Onyeamaechi.
The versatile defender made 33 appearances for the Dragons last season and his performance has attracted Portuguese Primera Liga giant FC Porto and French Ligue One side Rennes.
Porto may likely have the upper hand in his acquisition as they will be campaigning in the UEFA Champions League next season.
But the promise of regular action with Rennes may also want to tempt Nigeria’s international.
Onyeamachi who can also play as a central defender was invited to the Super Eagles camp for the 2023 African Cup of Nations games against Guinea Bissau but was unable to take to the pitch.
