The two draws recorded in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier by Nigeria’s Super Eagles failed to yield dividends as they remained unmoved in the latest FIFA ranking.
The Crocodile of Lesotho held Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw at the Goodwill Akpabio stadium in Uyo and the Nigerian side also played another 1-1 against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in Rwanda.
According to the ranking released on Thursday morning, Nigeria dropped to the 42nd in the World with1474.44 points and stayed 6th in Africa.
The Atlas Lions of Morocco remained the African best-ranked team in the 13th position and the Teranga Lions of Senegal in the 20th position.
