Barely 24 hours to the awaited quarter-final match against the United States, Nigeria’s U17 Women’s team Flamingoes has landed in Mumbai the capital city of India.
The Nigeria side is qualified to confront the North American country on Monday after they finished second behind the European champions Germany in group B.
The United States finished on top of group A with 7 points scoring 15 goals and conceding just one to reach the quarter-final of the competition.
Flamingoes on Wednesday afternoon touched down in Mumbai the venue of the game slated for Friday and they are immediately moved to the Fortune Hotel.
