Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 44 points and became Milwaukee’s career free throws leader as the Bucks rolled to a 125-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.
Jrue Holiday had 19 points, and Bobby Portis added 13 as the Bucks shot 56.5% from the floor and 51.6% (16 of 31) from 3-point range.
Jalen Green led the Rockets with 22 points. Kevin Porter Jr. had 18, Kenyon Martin Jr. 14, Jabari Smith Jr. 13 and Tari Eason 11.
The Rockets played night after a 129-122 home loss to Memphis. Eric Gordon, who scored 17 points against the Grizzlies, didn’t play Saturday due to team maintenance of an injured right groin.
The Bucks scored the game’s first 13 points and never trailed. The Rockets never got the margin below 12 points in the second half.
