Iheanacho got his first-ever Championship goal as he scored for Leicester City in their 2-0 win over Norwich City on Wednesday night at Carrow Road.
The Super Eagles forward opened the scoring at the stroke of halftime through the penalty spot after Stephy Mavididi was brought down inside the penalty area.
Kasey McAteer doubled the lead and sealed the Foxes’ victory in the 87th minute from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s cross.
Iheanacho didn’t last the entire duration of the game as he was substituted for Jamie Vardy.
He made just 37 touches in the encounter, completed 86% of his passes, made 1 key pass and completed none of his dribbles.
The 26-year-old had netted just one goal for the former Premier League champions in tonight’s encounter and will be hoping to score more often from now for Enzo Maresca’s side.
