In readiness for the International friendly match against the Desert Foxes of Algeria, the coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Jose Peseiro has named 25 players for the match.
Both the Nigeria Football Federation and Algeria Football Federation agreed to engage each other in an international friendly in September.
According to the list released by the Portuguese gaffer on Saturday, the quartet of Maduka Okoye, Kevin Akpoguma, Terem Moffi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Henry Onyekuru returned to the team after a brief absence from the team.
Newly recruited Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika will have an opportunity to secure his first cap for the country as he was handed a call-up to the team.
The team skipper Ahmed Musa headlines the list, including Leicester City player Wilfred Ndidi who has recovered fully to be part of the team.
Absent from the team are Nottingham Forest attacker Emmanuel Dennis and Shehu Abdullahi who has just joined the Bulgaria side, PFC Levski.
The match will take place in Oran, Algeria on September 27th, 2022.
