In-form Nigeria Super Eagles and OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi has been nominated for the 2023 Marc Vivian Foe Award in France.
The award was created in 2009 by France 24 and RFI as a remembrance for the former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon midfielder Marc Vivian Foe who died during the 2003 FIFA Confederation Cup.
The Nigerian International was considered for this award having scored double-digit goals for FC Lorient and Nice this season.
He was nominated alongside Yunis Abdelhamid (Morocco/Reims), Mama Baldé (Guinea-Bissau/Troyes), Mohamed Camara (Mali/Monaco), Habib Diallo (Senegal/Strasbourg), Seko Fofana (Ivory Coast/Lens), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco/ Paris), Chancel Mbemba (DRC/Marseille), Marshall Munetsi (Zimbabwe/Reims), Salis Abdul Samed (Ghana/Lens), Hamari Traoré (Mali/Rennes).
A jury of nearly 100 former players and journalists specializing in French and African football is responsible for choosing the winner.
The name of the winner will be announced on May 30.
