Zion Willamson returns to the court after missing the entire 2021-22 season due to a fractured right foot. The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Chicago Bulls 129-125 in Chicago this morning.
Zion had 13 points, four rebounds and one assist after playing for 15 minutes in his first game back.
The top performers in the game were Nikola Vucevic of the Chicago Bulls and Devonte Graham of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double in the match. Fifteen points, 11 rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes of play.
Devonte Graham played 21 minutes and produced 21 points, two rebounds and five assists.
It was a close-knitted game as the New Orleans Pelicans won the first two quarters (40-25, 30-28), and the Chicago Bulls won the last two quarters (39-34, 33-25).
The New Orleans Pelicans had a better field goal percentage than the Chicago Bulls but lost every other aspect of the game to the Chicago Bulls, like Free throws (88.2% to 72.2%), 3-pointers (33.3% to 29.7%)
