Nigeria Premier League have asked the league champions Enyimba FC To Pay N7m fine over their last home incident against Doma United while Doma United will also pay a N2m fine after the two clubs were involved in an action capable of bringing the game into disrepute during their match day 24 clash.
The league body also ordered the Enyimba International Stadium to be closed for the fans for next three home games
Acolrdong to the breakdown of the heavy fine on Enyimba, the reigning NPFL Champions will pay a fine of N1m for not providing adequate security for their last home match against Doma United, the club will pay another N1m for encroachment on to the pitch by their fans and other unauthorized persons while the Aba base side will also pay N5m fine for the disruption of live broadcast of the match
While delivering his verdict also on Doma United, the club was charged for breaching NPFL24 Framework & Rules. Doma Utd also failed to ensure the proper conduct of their players & officials in the course the match and has been finedN1 million for misconduct and another N1 million for general misconduct & failure to ensure proper conduct of their players & officials.
Both clubs have 48 hours to appeal the decision
