The 10th edition of the Ogunjobi Gold Cup ended with Remo Stars piping Shooting Stars 4-2 via Penalty shootout.
The duo of Dare Olatunji and Bala Akintunde missed there kicks as Remo Stars scooped the title for the second consecutive time.
It was a game of reunion for Ogunbote who led Shooting Stars to face his former club, Remo Stars in the final contest of the preseason tournament.
Just like it was last year where Remo Stars scooped the title with a four goal margin, the Ikenne Landlord did the same but in a more fistful manner.
Both sides were even with barren draws in the both halves of the game until they were separated via penalties.
Tony Okachi and Ogunribide scored the first set of a penalty shootout for their respective clubs, Shooting Stars and Remo Stars.
Similar to the first set, Stanley Okorom Cletus Emotan did the same.
Then Bala Akintunde failed to score for 3SC while Victor Aripo put the Blue Sky Stars in front.
Afterwards, Lekan Adebayo sealed the victory for Remo Stars after Dare Olatunji missed another set for Shooting Stars.
