Former Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rangers International of Enugu had received a message of support from the Anambra State Sports Commission.
The Flying Antelope arrived in the state on Wednesday ahead of their close camping exercise in readiness for the new season.
While speaking to the club media on the club’s arrival, the chairman of the sports commission in the state Hon. Patrick Onyedum delivered statements of support from the government and also wish the team well in the coming season.
“Sincerely, I am glad on this visit and remember with great feelings what our great club, Rangers International F.C stands for.
As a footballer, while growing up, it was my dream to feature for the team between the sticks but could not cut, not for lack of the requisite talent.
I must praise your decision to bring your preseason program to Awka and the Anambra state Sports Commission will give you all the support you need to succeed in the coming season”, he told club media.
