Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi continued his rich veins of form in the new season as he scored against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Awoniyi started the season on fire scoring in the game against Arsenal at the Emirate and was also on target against Sheffield United at the City Ground last week.
He opened the scoring in the second minute against Manchester United at Old Trafford and was instrumental in the second goal.
The host pulled a goal back before the end of the first half through Christian Eriksen as the half ended 1-2 in favour of Forest.
United scored the leveller in the second via Casemiro before scoring the winning goal from the penalty spot through Fernandez and the game ended 2-3.
Awoniyi has three goals this season for Forest.
