Arsenal dropped a point for the first time this season as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Fulham FC who paraded Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey.
The away side opened the scoring in the opening minute through Pareirera and they were able to hold on for the entire duration of the first half with Bassey doing a yeoman job at the heart of defence.
The Gunners levelled the scoreline in the 70th minute from the penalty spot through Bukayo before Eddie Nketia netted the second goal 2 minutes later
Bassey was sent off in the 83rd minute for a second bookable offence but Fulham pushed forward and Palhinha scored the equaliser in the 87th minute as the game ended 2-2.
