Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid has denied reports that they have entered into negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé.
Despite this denial of opening negotiations with Mbappé and his entourage, Madrid is expected to make a move to sign the forward before his contract expires at the Parc des Princes.
The former Monaco attacker’s future beyond the end of the season remains unknown with several options on the table including a move to Liverpool who still have faith in signing him.
The saga between Mbappé and Madrid seems far from over with officials at the Santiago Bernabéu believing the PSG attacker will sign for the club.
However, Madrid’s latest statement on the story has denied any negotiations between the club and the player as of yet.
“In view of the information recently issued and published by different media, in which speculates about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid C. F. wants to state that this information is absolutely false and that there have been no such negotiations with a player belonging to PSG”, the statement said.
