Captain of Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa mourns the death of Atsu. He was devastated following the death confirmation of Christian Atsu. Which sad event occured during the devastating 7-8 magnitude quake that hit Turkey and Syria.
Atsu was part of the affected victims. In which it took ten days to discover his dead body along side his passports. The ex Ghanaian international player was a player of Hatayspor FC in Turkey.
Describing him the late player. Ahmed Musa described the ex Chelsea, Newcastle player as a calm and good fellow who will be greatly missed.
“It’s unfortunate this is happening at this time. It is a huge blow to the entire Ghaniansas well as his club. We can only but give thanks to God. He alone knows everything. It’s sad he has to leave this way. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family he left behind. On behalf of myself and my teammates here in Nigeria and Turkey, we commiserate with the good people of Ghana as well as his team in Turkey to bear this irreparable lost.
