Day 9 of the Indian wells started up in the men’s category(ATP) well for the top seeds
Jannik Sinner 2-0 Adrian Mannarino
It was a straight-set win for the Italian number 11 seed, Jannik Sinner over Adrian Mannarino. He won the first set with a tiebreaker 9-7 after a 6-6 tie, then went ahead to win the second set 6-4.
Jack Draper 2-0 Andy Murray
It was a British affair where the former British number one was defeated by his countryman in straight sets. Draper pull a huge upset when he took the first set through a tiebreaker 8-6 and later took the second 6-2. Jack Draper after the game was overwhelmed by the victory over Andy Murray, who he called his inspiration.
Carlos Alcaraz 2-0 Tallon Griekspoor
The number one seed Carlos Alcaraz had no trouble in overcoming his opponent as the 19-year-old took the game in two sets winning the first after a tiebreaker (7-4) and taking the second 6-3.
Daniil Medvedev 2-1 Alexander Zverev
Despite losing the first set 7-5 in a tiebreaker, Daniil rallied back and took the next two sets( 7⁷-6⁵, 7-5) to beat the number 12 seed, Alex Zverev.
Andrey Rublev 0-2 Cameron Norie
The number 10 seed, Cameron Norrie came out big as he defeated the 6th seed, Andrey Rublev in straight sets 2-6 and 4-6.

The number 4 seed, Ons Jabeur was defeated in straight sets (6⁵-7⁷, 4-6) by the unseeded Markéta Vondroušovà
Iga Swiatek 2-0 Bianca Andreesu
The number one seed, Iga Swiatek eased through to the next round by defeating number 32 seed Bianca Andreesu in straight sets 6-3, 7⁷-6¹.
Coco Guaff 2-1 Rebecca Peterson
Coco Guaff recorded an apprehensive win over an unseeded Swede. She won the first set 6-3, then lost the second 1-6 and held on, and took the third 6-4.
