The athletics season is officially over but the commonwealth 100m hurdle champion, Tobi Amusan has continued to be in the news for positive reasons.
The World’s fastest 100m hurdler didn’t forget her humble beginning as she went back to her secondary school where the journey all started to show appreciation and support.
Recall,that the World Athletics had on Tuesday ratified Amusan’s World Record of 12.12s (0.9) set at the World Championships after winning the gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2022 Commonwealth games.
The Talented athlete, Tobi Amusan visited her secondary school, Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State on Friday, September 23rd 2022 to give back to her former school.

Amusan was warmly greeted and received by the students and management of the school and donated the sum of One Million Naira to the school, philanthropic gesture that will always be remembered and appreciated by her former school.
The amazing gesture by the decorated athletes will no doubt motivate and encourage other young athletes to follow the steps of Tobi Amusan.
