Nigerian-born star Michael Olakigbe has signed a new long-term contract with the English Premier League side Brentford FC
The 19-year-old has extended his stay until 2028 with a club option of one additional year.
Olakigbe has made four appearances in the Premier League so far this season, coming off the bench for his league debut against Bournemouth in September this year.
He made his senior debut for the club a few days before the match with the Cherries as he started the Carabao Cup win over Newport County.
The winger joined Brentford B from Fulham in the summer of 2022 and went on to play 27 times for the young Bees in his debut campaign, helping them to lift the Premier League Cup at Gtech Community Stadium.
Despite playing for the Junior Three Lions last month, Michael is still eligible to represent Nigeria.
