Following his consistent performance this season German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has approached the Belgian league side Union St Gilloise for the services of the Nigerian youngster Victor Boniface.
The energetic attacker has become a big revelation both in the Jupiler League and the Europa league this season.
He netted 6 goals in 10 Europa League matches and has scored 7 goals and 7 assists in 31 games in the domestic scene.
RB Leipzig are not the only side interested in the forward. Union Berlin, who the Belgian Union knocked out of the Europa League, have reportedly shown interest. The Belgian side are willing to let the striker go but will be looking to break their own transfer record in the process.
Boniface and Union are focused on the play-offs. The side are level on points with Genk at the top of the title group, with a chance at winning their first title for decades
