The last transfer window was indeed a successful one for Barcelona as they were able to get literally all there transfer target, but it must be stated they missed out on one major transfer that would have been a icing on the cake for them.
Recall that Bernardo Silva the Manchester City midfielder,was massively linked with a move to the Camp Nou, even up until the last day of the transfer window, before the premiere league defending champion later released statement that he would be staying with the Citizens.
However, according to report Barcelona are once again planning a move for Silva next year and are determined to have him as Xavi is convinced he needs the former Monaco player in his midfield.
Reports suggests that Manchester City are set to hold important talks with Silva regarding his future very soon. For the past two years, the Portuguese has tried to force his way out of the club and the club wants to understand if he still wants to leave.
It must be stated that the club will not in any way stand in the players way, as long as city’s demands are met (€80 million).
For Barcelona, they would be hoping that the player will ask for a move and the Blaugrana are ready to make him a major signing in the next coming summer transfer window.
