Despite losing to Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in an international friendly match, Zambia’s U20 striker Derrick Bulaya has remained optimistic about their qualification for the World Cup.
Bulaya was on target in Abuja but admitted that Nigeria has a strong squad but they have what it takes to secure their passage to the tournament in Indonesia.
” The game was okay and has high intensity, Nigeria is a strong side but we have to maintain our level.
Myself and the team just have to be focused and maintain our standard at AFCON.
I believed I can win the golden boot and we can qualify for the World cup”, he said.
