Group A leaders Arsenal will be hosting Swiss side FC Zurich in a bid to finish as group winners.
The Gunners who lost their last game away at second-placed PSV Eindhoven will want to end their group campaign on a high especially knowing that they (Arsenal) could be leapfrogged by PSV if they fail to win while PSV wins away at Bodø/Glimt.
Arsenal had an injury scare when Bukayo Saka went out injured during Arsenal’s last league game. However, England’s forward was back to training with the main squad yesterday. Mohamed Elneny and Oleksandr Zinchenko will be in contention to start in tonight’s game at the Emirates.
FC Zurich currently sits at the foot of the table and has nothing to play for. They have only one victory with four losses after five games played. Avdijaj, Dzemaili, Kryeziu, and Reichmuth are currently sidelined by injuries.
Bo Henriksen, coach of FC Zurich said: “Obviously Arsenal is the big favorite tomorrow. However, we are not here to see the sights, we will do everything we can to win. I believe in my players and I am convinced that tomorrow we will do everything we can as a team to create an upset.”
For Arsenal to be sure of being group winners, they must win against FC Zurich tonight.
