Italian club, Napoli has told Manchester United and Chelsea that the Nigerian in form striker Victor Osimhen is not for sale at any price this summer.
The Nigerian has scored 16 goals in 17 appearances so far this season, giving Napoli a 13-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.
With the club on course for their first league title since 1990, Europe’s elite are looking at Napoli’s best players and Osimhen is the pick of the bunch.
The forward joined the club from Lille in 2020 for a fee of £62.5m and his stock has risen significantly since.
Meanwhile Chelsea, are similarly keen to sign a top centre forward with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to leave the club and Kai Havertz deemed too goal-shy to occupy the position.
But Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis says the club are not interested in selling Osimhen and he’s not for sale at any price.
I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale,’ De Laurentiis said.
‘Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone.
‘We don’t have any debt.’
