Ahead of the Black Stars of Ghana’s second group game, coach Otto Addo has apologized for criticizing the referee after their opening game against Portugal.
The African side suffered a 3-2 defeat to the former European champions and the center referee was largely blamed for the defeat due to the penalty kick awarded to Portugal.
Addo during a press conference on Sunday afternoon tendered an unreserved apology to the referee and said it was emotion that got the better of him.
He further assured me that a similar thing will not occur again.
Ghana will face South Korea in their second group game on Monday in a game they must win to have a chance of reaching the knockout round.
