Former Super Eagles striker Peter Utaka, who is arguably Nigeria’s oldest outfield player abroad, has launched a clothing line, PUclothing, as he prepares for life after football.
Utaka is likely to call it to quit on his career at the expiration of his contract with his current Japanese J2 League club, Ventforet Kyoto, where he has scored two goals in as many appearances following his arrival at the club in January.
Utaka’s net worth is between $1 million and $5 million as of 2019. He earned so much playing as a free agent in the last few years at Dalian Aerbin, Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Shenxin, Shimizu S-Pulse, Sanfrecce Hiroshima, FC Tokyo, Vejle Boldklub, Tokushima Vortis, Ventforet Kofu and his current club, Ventforet Kyoto.
The former JUTH FC player who scored three times in seven appearances for Nigeria between 2010 and 2011, is striving to ensure his business hits the ground running, by advertising his wares on social media platforms, where he often gets his new team-mates at Ventforet Kyoto to showcase.
