Following his unruly behaviour in the game against MC Algers, the Algeria football league body has slammed Nigeria’s Super Eagles and CR Belouzidad winger Anayo Iwuala with heavy sanctions.
Former Enyimba international winger joined the Algerian side on loan from the Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis and has been a major player for the club.
A fight broke out during the game between Belouzidad and MC Algers and the investigation shows that the issue started from Iwuala.
According to the Professional Football League, Iwuala is suspended for 4 games, two of which are suspended and he will be firmly absent in the next two matches of CR Belouizdad.
The LFP will see if the Nigerian striker is eligible for the remaining two games as he has been fined 50,000 DA for his unsportsmanlike behaviour.
