Defending champion,Morroco has threatened to withdraw from the 2022 African Nations championship, CHAN due to start in Algeria next month
The Morroco FA insisted it will withdraw from the tournament unless they are allowed to fly directly from the country’s capital, Rabat
This is because of the ongoing tensions between the two North African neighbors which has seen direct flights cancelled since 2021.
Morroco who won the last CHAN tournament will have to fly to France first to enter Algeria
