Newly acquired forward Samu Omorodion has said he joined Atletico Madrid to help the team.
The 19-year-old Nigeria-eligible player signed a 5-year deal with Atletico from another Spanish La Liga side Granda.
The centre-forward stands out for his explosiveness, being very fast while scoring very easily.
This emerging talent took his first steps in the Sevilla FC youth academy before his move to Granada in 2021.
Samu made it clear that he joined to help the club and also to improve his game.
“I consider myself to be a hard-working player. I like to help the team. I want to keep growing as a footballer and learn from the very best”, he said.
Last season he scored 18 goals in the Segunda RFEF with the Granada reserve team, which were key to his team’s promotion.
Samu was born in Melilla to Nigeria parents and is eligible to play for Nigeria and Spain.
