When Ivorian champions ASEC Mimosa host Nigeria’s Rivers United in the final group game on Sunday, it will be a tough game for them says midfielder Joseph Onoja.
The Nigerian side won the reverse fixtures in Nigeria 2-0 and they are presently on top of the group on superior goal difference.
While speaking ahead of the game, Onoja confirmed their readiness for the top-of-the-table clash.
“We are in high spirits and not under pressure, we aim to make sure we top our group.
We played them in Nigeria, and we beat but this is their ground and we just have to make sure we play ourselves out and make sure we get the 3 points.
We have prepared for the game and we’ve played them before we knew where we are lacking and we’ve worked on them and it will be very tough for them because we came prepared”, he said.
