Nantes FC have announced that their Nigerian winger Moses Simon has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season.
Simon got injured while on international duty for Nigeria in their 2-0 friendly defeat to Mali in Marrakech on Tuesday night.
Nantes have now confirmed Simon suffered a serious injury which will keep him out for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
“Moses Simon was injured yesterday against Mali. Our Nigerian striker suffers from a broken fibula which means the end of the season,” the club said in a statement.
“FC Nantes is already keen to provide its full support to its attacker and wishes him a speedy recovery!”
