Ahead of the match day 9 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, the head coach of Bayelsa United Deprieye Tebowei has set his sight on getting maximum points from the game.
The newly promoted side secured a surprise away draw against Niger Tornadoes in the match day 8 of the league.
Tebowei believed they would have won the game but his players failed to take their chances, especially in the dying minutes of the match.
Bayelsa United will slug it out with the former champions Rangers on Sunday and the coach has insisted that victory is not negotiable.
” We are expecting nothing more than 3 points, which will take us to a better position on the table.
Unfortunately, we failed to win the game against Tornadoes we have what it takes to win it, and we got the chance to bury them in the dying minutes but we lost it.
The draw was good because it boosted our morale for the next game against Enugu Rangers.
I have told the players that the only way we can bring ourselves back is to win the game against Rangers and against Rivers United, if we can win both games it will improve our position”, he said.
