The technical adviser of the Enugu Rangers Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed his happiness following his side’s victory over Plateau United.
The Flying Antelope on Sunday defeated Plateau United 2-0 to maintain their position on the log.
Ilechukwu confirmed after the game that he was happy that he silenced the boastful Jos-based side.
“I think it was a great one for us. I am pleased about the outcome of this game because it was a game.
We prepared very well knowing that we had struggled in our last two away games and had to bounce back to give our fans something to cheer against my former team who had boasted too much about this match even before it was played. I thank God for the three points today”, he said.
The 2016 champions remain on top with 57 points in 32 games.
