The mid-season transfer window in the NPFL officially closed a few days ago with a good number of NPFL clubs using that opportunity to bolster their squad ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the league.
At Brace Radio, we monitored some transfers of players and coaches that were completed before the window was shut and we present to you our top 12 transfers that were successful in no particular order
1. Junior Lokosa – The former NPFL goal King last played for Kwara United before joining Supersports United in South Africa. According to multiple announcements, Junior Lokosa has joined Remo Stars and will play for the sky blues in the second half of the NPFL
2. Uchenna Frank Odeh – the former Heartland and Dakkada FC defense Marshall has linked up with Shooting Stars ahead of the second half of the NPFL season. Uchenna signed a deal till the end of the season
3. Chijioke Akuneto – The NPFL goal king last season for Rivers United has joined Enyimba FC on a 2year deal
4. Christian Ekong – the versatile attacker has linked up with Wikki Tourist of Bauchi from Enyimba after injury slowed him down last season, he’s expected to score goals for his new team when the league restarts in a few days
5. Adeleye Olamilekan – The highly experienced defender has joined Shooting Stars to help the team defensively in the 2nd half of the NPFL season. Olamilekan joined from Lobi Stars, with his experience at Al-Merrick and defunct Ifeanyi Ubah FC where he won the Federation cup, he’s expected to bring a lot to the Shooting stars team
6. Ifeanyi Anemeana – Rock solid defender and former Enyimba player linked up with Remo Stars before the transfer window was shut from Al-Nahdah FC on a year deal
