Nigeria’s Super Falcons and CSKA Moscow women winger Francisca Ordega has joined the football fans and stakeholders in appreciating teammate Desire Oparanozie who announced her retirement from the game.
Oparanozie earlier on Wednesday announced retiring from active football for both the national team and club side.
Ordega took to her social media handle to pay tribute to Oparanozie who contributed immensely to the Super Falcons since her debut.
” DIDI! Thank you for sharing ur expertise with all of us. ur career has been impressive, and ur example is an inspiration to many young girls out there.
I personally enjoyed all of the time we’ve worked together, and I will really miss you.
I hope you have a wonderful retirement” Ordega said.
Both of them were part of the Super Falcons team at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
