Following his misconduct in the weekend game, Nigeria’s Super Eagles and KAA Gent striker Gift Orban is set to face a two-match ban.
The Nigerian youngster was sent off last weekend in the game against Eupen and the league organiser is already looking into the case to determine the final decision.
The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office ruled that it involved physical misconduct and more specifically a brutal push with high intensity.
For Orban, it is the first red card in 57 professional matches.
According to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, a clean criminal record will play to Orban’s advantage.
KAA Gent is considering the proposal for an amicable settlement and will take a position no later than Tuesday.
