The reports coming from Italy suggest that the transfer of Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers from US Cremonese to Scottish side Glasgow Rangers is being delayed due to the pay dispute between both clubs.
Dessers still under contract until 2027 with Cremonese and the Italians want to recoup the amount spent on his signing last summer which was €7 million.
But Rangers are insisting on paying less for the Nigerian International and Dessers on his part wants the issue to settle on time so can start his preseason on time.
Cremonese is already entertaining discussions with other teams especially in Italy in which Torino is leading the race to get the former Feyenoord attacker.
Dessers scored 7 goals and 2 assists in the just-concluded season in Italy.
