The 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers between Guinea Bissau and Nigeria’s Super Eagles which had earlier been scheduled for Morocco is likely to be reversed to their original home.
The Federation of the Guinea Bissau had initially adopted Morocco as their home ground after the national stadium failed to secure approval from CAF.
According to the update from the country, the inspection team of the African soccer governing body arrived in Guinea Bisaau in the early hours of Saturday to inspect the facilities.
The football body seems to have been satisfied with what is on the ground at the Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro de Bissau.
Guinea Bissau is hoping to qualify for the biennial tournament for the second consecutive time.
