Following their draw against Gombe United, the head coach of Nasarawa United Abubakar Arikya has said his players failed to play to expectations.
Played at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday, it was Gombe United that netted the opening goal before the Solid Miners equalised with 5 minutes to end the game.
The manager said the players failed to reach the level they did against Akwa United.
” Actually what we are expecting the players to play they didn’t play to that level we’re expecting.
The way they played today was different from the way they did against Akwa United”, the coach said.
Arikya replaced Bala Nikyu who left the team at the end of the first stanza.
