Arsenal defeated Bodø/Glimt 3 nil at the Emirates Stadium to go top of Group A with a game in hand.
Even with a rotated squad, the team captained by Granit Xhaka were very convincing from the blast of the whistle and went ahead through Eddie Nketiah who tapped in from a rebound at th 23rd minute. Rob Holding doubled the lead with a header from a Fabio Viera cross in the 27th minute. Xhaka could have gotten a goal for himself but his freekick could only be tipped over the bar by the opposition goalkeeper.
The second half started and deep into it substitute Gabriel Jesus danced his way into the box and found a pass to Fabio Viera for him to score a goal on the night.
The result was a highlight of Arsenal impressive form this season and the Emirates Stadium was rocking due to jubilant supporters. Arsenal will now switch focus to the Premier League where they will host Liverpool this weekend.
