The head coach of the Nigeria Premier Football League side Remo Stars Daniel Ogunmodede has revealed the reason they were not topping the table after the first stanza of the league.
The Ikenne-based club was one of the leading club when the league started but since losing 3-0 to Bendel Insurance, they’ve found it difficult to regain their form.
They lost 2-0 to Nasarawa United in the final game of the first stanza of the league and Ogunmodede explained that his players were not clinical enough.
“The first stanza did not go the way we planned it, we planned to be second on the table minimum but unfortunately, we were not clinical enough, we created chances in all our games but we failed to convert them”, he said.
